Our House in Jan 2008
Outside
House from the front. Both trees were
blown down in storms, so it's looking pretty bare! The third car
garage at left was converted to a room before we bought the house, and we
use that for our "Game Room." You can't see the entrance very well,
but there is a red door that opens to a large living room. The upper
left area is Sarah's and Chris' room.
View from the front of the house across the street. Susan is going on
a walk with Sarah, with Chris on his bike. Our street is a very calm
residential street, which is great.
View from the front yard to the east, down the street. We enjoy the
nice blue skies (most of the time).
Entrance - Living Room
Entrance is to a fairly large living room with formal dining area. Here, Sarah has rearranged the chairs and piano bench for some game. Nice view of the pool from here; two-story ceiling. We don't actually spend a lot of time in this room - it seems like it's a pass-through area to get to the rooms where we hang out.

Other Rooms
Here is our main living area. The leather chair in the corner is the favorite place of just about everybody. We watch TV here.
Connected with the TV room is the kitchen. Beyond the obvious uses, we
employ this area as a repository of Sarah's artwork and pictures of loved
ones. Sometimes we eat at the counter. Here's Minnie, lower
left, making a cameo appearance.

Back Yard - Pool
We really like our pool in the summer. I'm missing it these days in the extreme cold of Scottsdale in January. The white things is a basketball hoop, which gets enthusiastic use when we're in the pool.
