New House in Scottsdale

We found a nice house to buy in the Pinnacle Peak community of Scottsdale.  It's still close to work, and in a nice neighborhood.  Several people of have asked for pictures, and here they are.  Most of the pictures were taken by Susan's sister Beth when she visited.

Front View of the House

The front door is red, and we are working on getting a bench and some decorations set up in the entrance area.  The porch lights are pretty at night.  The kids' rooms are upstairs to the right, and to the left is the Game Room.  We picked the house because the color blends with the car (not really).

Formal Dining Area

When you enter the house, there is a formal living/dining room.  The living room part, with the piano, is not pictured here.  The dining room part is to the right as you enter.  I suppose we'll never actually eat at this table - unless we get some fancy guests!  However, there are great hide-and-seek opportunities under the table and chairs.

Kitchen and Partial View of Family Room

This is where we spend most of our time, except for the Game Room.  The built-in shelf demanded a wide-screen TV, and now we have one!

Other View of Family Room

"Don't spill on the carpet!" is our motto.

The Office!

This is our computer room - an office/study.  I don't have a lot of books, so the shelves are a little bare.  We have a great view of the pool area out the window (too bright to see).

Game Room

This was originally a separate garage area for a third car, but the original owners converted it into a room.  This the place where we can play!

Back Yard / Pool

We plan to spend a lot of time here, too.  This was actually a cool and breezy day!

Kids by the Pool

Here are our prides-and-joys.  Christopher is dressed up more than usual because of Aunt Beth's visit.  Sarah is going with the unencumbered look.
