George Olliver - Maja Gospel Award Winner and Covenant Nominee 2008
"He Saved Me" from the CD "Look Up" has just won Gospel Song of the Year......"SONG OF THE YEAR" .08 as voted by the MAJA AWARDS (one of Canada's leading gospel music organizations).
This is the culmination of many years work in music for George and although he's accepted other awards over his career, this is by far the most important.
George's new CD has also just recently won "Gospel Album of the Year" for Durham Region.
Last fall he performed on the largest outdoor fair in the North America ............THE CANADIAN NATIONAL EXHIBITION, being the first performer to present gospel/soul music on the midway in decades.
